Roger Miller joined James Graham Law, LLC in June of 2024. As an attorney with the firm, Roger focuses on Bankruptcy Law and practices in the areas of Family Law and Criminal Law. Before coming to James Graham Law, Roger was the owner of Miller Mediation and Law after serving as the Director of Legal Operations for another local firm.
Roger's legal career is distinguished by eight years of honorable service as a General Sessions Court Judge, where he demonstrated a commitment to justice and fairness. His expertise is further recognized by his designation as a Rule 31 listed mediator, showcasing his dedication to resolving disputes through collaborative means.
With over 25 years of diverse experience in the legal field, Roger Miller has established himself as a respected attorney and mediator in his community. As the owner and lead attorney at Miller Mediation and Law, he specialized in bankruptcy law, family law, and criminal law, bringing a wealth of knowledge and a compassionate approach to each case.
Roger began his academic journey at Roane State Community College. He then later attended the University of New York, where he earned his second undergraduate degree. He went on to achieve his law degree from Samford University's Cumberland School of Law, where he excelled academically and held leadership roles as Chair of the school's American Bar Association chapter and a member of the governing board of the American Bar Association's Solo and Small Firm Division.
Throughout his career, Roger has remained committed to continuous learning and professional development, using his extensive experience to guide clients through complex legal challenges. His holistic approach to law emphasizes understanding and collaboration, making him a trusted advocate for those he serves.
When not in the office, Roger plays numerous instruments and considers himself an amateur singer/songwriter/composer. He's a die-hard Tennessee fan through and through, attending as many Tennessee Football, Basketball and Baseball games as possible. Roger has always enjoyed spending time mentoring the youth of the community and coaching youth sports, particularly when involving his son, Aaron.
